Chromium carbonyl complexes containing 1,4,8,11-tetrakis-(methyldiphenylphosphino)-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane (TPTA): the synthesis and characterization of [Cr(CO) 4] 2 TPTA and [Cr(CO) 5] 4 TPTA

Two chromium carbonyl complexes containing 1,4,8,11-tetrakis(methyldiphenylphosphino)-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane (TPTA) have been prepared: the binuclear species [Cr(CO) 4] 2 TPTA ( 1) and the tetranuclear species [Cr(CO) 5] 4TPTA ( 2). The crystal structure of 2 has been determined.
