Magnetic, spectral, thermal and structural properties of trans-tetrakis(pyrazole)bischloromanganese(II), trans-hexakis(pyrazole)manganese(II) bisperchlorate and trans-tetrakis(pyrazole)bisaquamanganese(II) bispyrazolebisnitrate
The complexes studied are rather unstable; their magnetic properties are in agreement with this, the paramagnetic susceptibility following the Curie-Weiss law in the temperature range 90–300 K. Summary: | The complexes studied are rather unstable; their magnetic properties are in agreement with this, the paramagnetic susceptibility following the Curie-Weiss law in the temperature range 90–300 K. However, the IR spectra show M-N bands and are influenced by Hydrogen bond formation. The reflectance spectra show at least one weak band at about 23500–24200 cm

The TG curves, in agreement with the anisotropic temperature factors, coordination and hydrogen bond formation, point to differently strong-bonded pyrazole molecules in the crystal structures. The powder diffraction data of the perchlorate complex are also reported. The results are discussed and compared with previous data obtained for pyrazole complexes. |
