Measurement and Correlation of Solubilities of Indole-2-carboxylic Acid in Ten Different Pure Solvents from (278.15 to 360.15) K
The solubilities of indole-2-carboxylilc acid in ten pure solvents including water, methanol, ethanol, 1-propanol, 2-propanol, 1-butanol, ethyl acetate, dichloromethane, toluene, and 1,4-dioxane were measured from (278.15 to 360.15) K at atmospheric pressure using the synthetic method. The solubilit...

Summary: | The solubilities of indole-2-carboxylilc acid in ten pure solvents including water, methanol, ethanol, 1-propanol, 2-propanol, 1-butanol, ethyl acetate, dichloromethane, toluene, and 1,4-dioxane were measured from (278.15 to 360.15) K at atmospheric pressure using the synthetic method. The solubility was determined by a laser monitoring observation technique and found to increase with the rise of temperature. The experimental solubilities were regressed by the modified Apelblat with a relative deviation less than 3.63 % except in toluene. |
