Summary: | The Guci tourism area is a place that has been locally well known for its natural beauty which has a high aesthetic value. However, there is still no geosite identified in the area, thus it is necessary to map the existing geosites to plan and further develop geotourism. The objective of geosite inventory research in the Guci tourism area aims to identify, assess feasibility and create geotourism map of the area. This study is done by doing mapping method directly in the field. Based on mapping result, there are 10 potential geosite locations in the Guci including
Curug Putri, Curug Pengantin, Curug Monyet Cawitali, Curug Cantel, Curug Jejeg, Baper Hill, Curug Kaliawu, Curug Jedor, Pancuran 13
, and
Bintang Hill
. According to the analysis using the Kubalikova method (2013), there are 2 locations that have value of less than 50% feasibility, namely
Curug Jejeg
and
Curug Kaliawu
. The Guci Geotourism area is planned to be divided into 2 geotrek, with an estimated of 1 day of travel for each track. |
