Summary: | Environmental education is a continuous and permanent process of training a population that seeks solutions to existing environmental problems and others that may arise. The objective of the research was to carry out a bibliographic survey about the pedagogical techniques and practices used in schools in Mozambique that aim to improve the environment and sustainable development of that country. It is important to use sociocultural educational instruments that encompass specific knowledge to be used in the individual's training. The importance of raising awareness about sustainability through educational practices that enable transformative action in society in relation to environmental issues and the effects of human interference in Mozambican territory. To this end, bibliographical research was used, with the location, survey, reading and recording of references that discuss how to raise awareness of environmental issues and the effects of human interference. A educacao ambiental e um processo continuo e permanente de formacao de uma populacao que busca solucoes para os problemas ambientais existentes e outros que venham a surgir. Objetivou-se na pesquisa realizar um levantamento bibliografico acerca das tecnicas e praticas pedagogicas utilizadas nas escolas de Mocambique que visem a melhoria do ambiente e desenvolvimento sustentavel desse pais. E importante o uso de instrumentos socioculturais educacionais que englobem saberes especificos para serem utilizados na formacao do individuo. A importancia da conscientizacao sobre sustentabilidade por meio de praticas educativas que possibilitem uma acao transformadora da sociedade com relacao as questoes ambientais e os efeitos da interferencia humana no territorio mocambicano. Para tanto, utilizou-se de pesquisa bibliografica, com localizacao, levantamento, leitura e fichamento de referencias que discorrem sobre a forma de conscientizacao das questoes ambientais e os efeitos da interferencia humana.
