Summary:Study objective: The objective of this research was to investigate the moderating effect of manufacturing capabilities on the relationship between supply chain management and business performance in enterprises associated with technopoles in Brazil. Originality/Relevance: In the supply chain management literature, there are records of its influence on business performance; however, research that directly investigate the moderating effect of manufacturing capabilities on this relationship are scarce, which indicates the relevance of this research and its originality for studies involving supply chains and technopoles. Metodologia/Abordagem: inicialmente foram feitas entrevistas em profundidade com dez gestores da cadeia a fim de conhecer as capabilidades de manufatura e desenvolver um questionario para coleta de dados. Em seguida, os que stionarios foram submetidos a pre-testes em dez empresas e apos isso foram coletadas 125 respostas, distribuidas em seis polos de tecnologia. Metodologia/Enfoque: inicialmente se realizaron entrevistas en profundidad con diez gestores de la cadena con la finalidad de conocer las capacidades de manufactura y desarrollar un cuestionario para la recoleccion de datos. A continuacion, los cuestionarios fueron sometidos a pre-pruebas en diez empresas, despues de que se recolectaron 125 respuestas, distribuidas en seis polos de tecnologia.
