Description
Summary:Bearing fault detection and classification is a significant and crucial concern. This article presents the design of a vibration measurement and control system using a field programming gate array (FPGA) controller. The system encompasses vibration sensing and motor control functionalities. The vibration signals are captured and processed by fast Fourier transform (FFT) with hardware implementation, enabling real-time display of both the time domain and frequency domain signals. The obtained data serves as the basis for motor speed control, and anomaly detection is performed through logical analysis. A self-adjusting speed method is proposed to mitigate abnormal vibration. The measurement program control facilitates quick data collection of vibration and speed parameters of the motor for identifying abnormal data patterns. The measurement results accurately illustrate the real-time detection of motor fault types, and the motion vibrations.
