Summary: | Estimation of time domain pattern for UWB array holds significant importance for antenna pattern synthesis and engineering realization. In this paper, the ultra-wideband array antenna is considered as a discrete aperture planar array, and the time domain pattern is estimated theoretically based on aperture radiation theory and the solved equivalent tangential electric field waveform. The verification demonstrates that the proposed method achieves good results in radiation characteristics estimation with strong applicability. Also, this approach significantly expands practical applications of aperture radiation theory in analyzing array antennas. |
