Description
Summary:Key dependent block cipher algorithms have been designed and implemented by researchers. However, the performance in terms of security, speed and synchronisation for modern communication has not been sufficiently addressed and analysed. In this paper, we propose novel family of 128-bit Substitution-Permutation Network (SPN) block cipher encryption algorithms which simultaneously uses key based S-box, P-box, transposition and key expansion for block cipher. Internal structure of proposed cipher algorithm is secured, fast and consumes less processing resources. It can resist the linear and differential part of cryptanalysis in a few round encryptions. The basic architecture is implemented in FPGA using VHDL and thus the algorithm has reasonable speed on modern communication systems.
