Summary: | In a platoon, a number of smart vehicles communicate with each other through a communication channel to follow their common desired destination. However, these vehicles might be misled by malicious cyber-attacks, including Denial-of-Service (DoS) attacks. Since the attacked vehicle might cause instability in the whole platoon, guaranteeing the safety of total behavior of the vehicles is a critical issue. In this paper, a novel vehicular resilient control strategy is introduced to recover the attacked vehicle to the group. Furthermore, DoS attack is modeled by a delay in the dynamical model of the system. Therefore, detection and estimation of DoS attack are done by introducing two incremental counters in the DoS detection estimation algorithm. Illustrative case studies will demonstrate the applicability of the proposed strategy. |
