Summary: | Slices of Tomato fruits 'Best of All' and 'Marglobe' were inoculated with three isolates of Phoma destructiva Plow. Vitamin C and carbohydrates content was depleted within 5-6 days of incubation. Both qualitative and quantitative changes occurred during this period in carbohydrates of inoculated slices. Isolate P3 of P. destructiva was relatively more efficient than the other two isolates (P1 and P2). No correlation between the in vitro and in vivo utilization of the carbohydrates by the pathogen could be established. Fette di pomodori 'Best of All' e 'Marglobe' sono state inoculate con tre isolati di Phoma desctructiva Plow. Entro 5-6 giorni dall'inoculazione la vitamina C e i carboidrati dei frutti erano stati completamente utilizzati dal fungo. Durante questo stesso periodo, i carboidrati delle fette inoculate avevano subito variazioni qualitative e quantitative. L'isolato P3 di P. destructiva si è dimostrato relativamente più efficiente degli altri due isolati (P1 e P2). Non è stato tuttavia possibile stabilire alcuna correlazione fra l'utilizzazione dei carboidrati da parte del fungo in vitro e in vivo. Des tranches de tomates 'Best of All' et 'Marglobe' ont été inoculées avec trois isolats de Phoma destructiva Plow. Cinq à six jours après l'inoculation, la vitamine C et les hydrates de carbone de ces fruits avaient complètement disparu. Pendant la même période, les hydrates de carbone des tranches inoculées présentaient des variations qualitatives et quantitatives. La souche P3 de P. destructiva a été relativement plus active que les deux autres (P1 et P2). Il était cependdant impossible d'établir une corrélation entre la utilisation in vitro et in vivo des hydrates de carbone par le champignon. |
