[...]given the importance of effective therapistpatient communication, the close relationship between patients and therapist, the existing defects in therapiespatient relationships and the large number of people seeking for medical helps, the present study was conducted to examine health personnel's communication skills and seek ways to improve those skills. The main objective of the present study was to compare levels of patients' satisfaction between two groups of medical personnel (one received communication skills trainings and the other received no intervention). [...]127 medical personnel received 4 sessions of communication skills training (i.e. behavioral, listening, speaking and feedback skills and a review session) and 127 medical personnel received no intervention. Results of Nasiri-Pour et al study [34] indicated that there is a positive significant relationship between communication skills and hospital service quality.
