Summary:Training and Development, On the Job Training, Training Design and Delivery styles are four of the most important aspects in performance studies. The focus of this study is to understand the effect of Training and Development, On the Job Training, Training Design and Delivery style on Employee Performance. The back bone of this study is the secondary data comprised of comprehensive literature review. Four hypotheses are developed to see the impact of all the independent variables on the overall Employee Performance. Purpose: Every organization need training and development to improve their performance and achieve company goals. Because of that, an organization must monitor and respond towards their training whether the training is effective or not. According to Boadu et al. (2014), training and development are the most important practice in human resources and mostly focus on profitoriented private sector and it is to enhance employee performance. In addition, the company can determine the type of training that their employees need, in order to improve their performance as well as to motivate and give satisfaction to employees when acquiring their new skills or knowledge, especially within their scope of work. According to Elnaga and Imran (2013), the more developed the training given to employees, the more satisfied that they will be with their duties. Thus, increasing the productivity and profitability of the company. Design/methodology/approach: The population is dependent on the number of target employee. The sampling is confined to specific types of employee who can provide the desired information, and who conforms to some criteria set by the researcher. The random procedures of this sample were used in this study to select individual respondents from the population. Questionnaires were designed and distributed to respondents to obtain the data on the effect of training and development on employee towards employee performance. Correlation analysis was conducted to determine the relationship between the independent variables and dependent variable. Regression analysis was then used to determine the result of the research. Research limitations/implications: The influence of training and development showed that there is a positive effect on employee performance.
