Description
Summary:— Compounds with the general formula (0.1 ≤ х ≤ 0.33, 0.2 ≤ n ≤ 0.5) have been synthesized via hydrolytic precipitation using VOSO 4 ·3H 2 O and HCl. In the presence of hydrated vanadyl sulfate at a KVO 3 /VOSO 4 ·3H 2 O molar ratio between 0.1 and 1.0, the process yields having the highest tetravalent vanadium content. The synthesized compounds have been proposed as electrode materials of all-solid-state ion-selective electrodes. The best performance is offered by an electrode with a based membrane sensitive to potassium cations in the range 1 ≤ ≤ 4 with a calibration curve slope of 56 mV/ at 3.6 ≤ рН ≤ 7.0. We have determined the selectivity coefficients of the electrodes for singly, doubly, and triply charged cations.
