Description
Summary:In mobile ad hoc networks, the entire operation is performed with the cooperation of all the nodes in the network. All the nodes of the network are mobile in nature and resource constrained, some nodes may be malicious or selfish. Therefore, cooperation among all the nodes are not guaranteed. This characteristics of network leads to numerous security threats which distrupts the communication activities. The proposed system introduces non cooperative Bayesian game approach to handle this node noncooperation problem. The game model is developed with regular, selfish and malicious nodes which forms the static and dynamic game. The regular and malicious nodes periodically evaluates it neighbors by using belief updating process and update their payoffs. By this method, malicious nodes are identified and their payoff is reduced. The regular nodes are continuosly monitoring the attacker and enhances the security of the system. The simulation results demonstrates that the proposed system increases the throughput and packet delivery ratio and decreases the routing overhead and propagation delay.
