Summary: | Modern requirements regarding the production technology of electrical isotropic steels (EISs) for energy-effective mechanical engineering are considered. The directions of works on improvement of chemical composition and steelmaking practice, annealing of hot-rolled strip, cold rolling conditions, and final heat treatment towards the optimal size of EIS micrograin are shown. New brands of EISs of PAO NLMK, which provide energy saving upon operation of electrical machines, are presented. |
