Summary: | The results of mathematical modeling performed to make an assessment of the strength, the normal operation, and the resource of the critical element of the load-transfer machine. Good convergence obtains with measurements of the deflection of the central part of the chain on a real structure. The results of the modeling are used in designing a chain-type cable layer whose purpose is to bring electric cables to mobile equipment. It is shown that the considered design meets the requirements of strength under static and dynamic loading. The resource characteristics are substantiated for a specified number of loading cycles. |
