Description
Summary:Happy employees guarantee a happy workplace and successive organization. A thriving company needs contented workers to function. Employee satisfaction helps aid in long-term organizational growth. This study aims to develop and present a comprehensive model grounded in the literature and links High-Performance Work Systems (HPWS) to employee happiness and organizational growth. This study creates an integrated HPWS-Employee Happiness interaction model using the constructs of HPWS, Work Intensification (WI), Employees Happiness (EH), and Organizational Growth (OG), which will provide forecasting for the future research paths of HPWS. To advance the idea of HPWS, its relationship with employees, and its connection with organizations, this study examines the literature and incorporates 70 papers published between 2000 and 2023 from various sources. An HPWS-Employee Happiness interaction model has been developed based on the ability, motivation, and opportunity (AMO) framework and literature review of how the HPWS environment affects job intensification and employee happiness. In the future, we will test the model empirically to confirm the study’s results. The HPWS-employee interaction model will concentrate on creating HR tactics businesses can use to increase performance and employee engagement. It will assist us in identifying HPWS-related possibilities, challenges, and solutions. The HPWS-Employee Happiness Interaction Model clarifies how HPWS and WI factors affect workers’ happiness within an organization. Additionally, this model motivates future studies to examine employee happiness holistically.
