41 in the ratio 1 : 1 : 1, were studied as initiators of the polymerization of methyl methacrylate (MMA). It was found that polymerization of MMA in the presence of percarbonates at 50–80° in the high conversion Range exhibits a less pronounced gel-effect than in the presence of conventional peroxides. This is explained by the weak inhibiting properties due to particular structural features of the organic fragments of the percarbonates studied. |
