Summary:Pregnant women are highly vulnerable to environmental stressors such as ambient particulate matter (PM). Particularly during their 3rd trimester, their bodies undergo significant oxidative stresses. To further consolidate this dialogue into practice, the current study evaluated healthy pregnant women (n = 150 housewives; 18–40 years old; gestation age >36 weeks) from the highly polluted city of Yazd, Iran, from September to November 2021.
