Summary: | Good training is the best way to ensure superb member service -- service that involves understanding your members' financial needs and identifying exactly which product(s) or service(s) will satisfy that need. It takes a commitment straight from the top that learning matters. Every employee in every functional area has to be knowledgeable and skilled in delivering services and products so that the transaction is seamless for the member. To achieve that level of staff performance you need a commitment to a culture of continuous education. Your staff are playing an important role in your members' financial futures. You want your members to walk into your institution and have total confidence not only in your credit union but also in each individual with whom they interact. The key here truly is continuous education. While learning takes place in many different environments and in many different situations, educators have long proposed that a learner's physical environment has a demonstrable impact on the capacity to learn. |
