Description
Summary:A research by University of North Carolina-Charlotte professor Alan Freitag, has found that employee dissatisfaction with benefits was tied to poor communication, suggesting more integration is needed between public relation and human resource functions. The study, which evaluates the depth of HR management's understanding of employee concerns, decision-making processes, and communication channel preferences, shows that employees did not agree with HR survey data projecting satisfaction with benefits communication and choice, indicating strategy derived exclusively from the survey could be flawed.
