Summary: | A consulting firm shares its findings of how well nursing homes market themselves. There are several ways that facilities lose admissions. The impact of the condition of a nursing home entrance is amazing. People coming to your facility are generally tense, nervous and wishing their situation were different. Second, most people working with inquiries do not give them enough time. Third, since tours are almost always rushed, tour givers generally forget to introduce the visitors to the other staff members. The 4th way admissions are lost involves the simplest procedure of all - inquiry takers do not ask for the admissions. Finally, a follow up is rarely made to the visitor. Other guidelines for successful marketing of nursing homes are presented. |
