Description
Summary:The problem could be something immediate and small, such as team members not showing up to meetings on time, or something more long term and critical, such as a department being unable to integrate new hires successfully. Opportunity is a complex factor that includes tangible resources (time, budget, and equipment), organizational guidelines (laws, rules, policies, and (ob roles), and intangible psychological lim-iters (self-assurance, self-doubt, and co-worker support). A department head complains that their new hires (of which there are many) are often not making it through the first six months and blames the training department that designed the onboarding process. Because onboarding involves team leaders and co-workers who help train new employees, leverage a combination of interviews and anonymous surveys with those stakeholders to figure out what must change in the onboarding process.
