Summary: | In this research, it is known that the CNC Laser Cutting Machine is used to cut fabric materials. In principle, the CNC Laser Cutting machine can work in the form of commands from the computer to run/execute programs from the image patterns that have been created. This study aims to analyze the effect of cutting tests on textile fabric materials on test parameters, namely, laser head distance (mm), cutting speed (mm/min), Power (Watts), Kerf Width (mm), Circle Diameter (mm), and Side line length (SLL). The laser head cutting distance is set at a distance of 60 mm. The cutting speed uses 100, 150, 200 mm/min, the power used is 3.5, 4.5, and 5.5 Watts as a constant parameter variation. Meanwhile, kerf width, Circle Diameter, and Side Line Length are parameter variations measured from the results of cutting the fabric. The fabrics used as the object of the experiment were cotton, wool, and silk. The analytical method uses the Taguchi method to obtain the optimal value from comparing cutting parameters on the object of research. The study results show that cotton fabrics have a good average cutting result at a speed of 150 mm/min using 3.5 Watts of power. The results of this test can assist in developing manufacturing technology in the textile industry. So that it can produce a maximum and efficient production process. |
